In these uncertain times we understand flexibility is important. For any bookings which have to be changed or cancelled as a result of a Covid-19 lockdown or travel limitations imposed by the Government of New Zealand we will fully refund your accommodation charges. For changes or cancellations not connected with the Covid-19 pandemic our standard cancellation policy applies.
* Cancellation within 14 days of arrival date: 50% forfeit of the total booking price
* Cancellation within 7 days of arrival date: 100% forfeit of the total booking price
The historic nature and layout of Casa Nova House does not make the first floor child friendly, so we only welcome children above the age of thirteen to stay. Children of any age are welcomed as guests in the restaurant and for private events with supervision. Please contact us if you wish to discuss or have any questions regarding our policy as we take everyone's safety very seriously.
Unfortunately we are not able to offer disabled access to our guest rooms as these are all located on the first floor. The building is heritage listed and the staircase cannot be altered. We do have disabled access to our ground floor restaurant and ground floor bathroom facilities.
To play our part in Conserving for Tomorrow. Casa Nova house has a three night change the linen & towel policy (unless required earlier) to help with the consumption of water and chemical use. Our guest rooms are hygienically cleaned and all linens are changed between guests.
